MemberHi everyone,
we use Breakaway Broadcast with a lot of pleasure! Monday till saturday for Chr music and
sunday Christian music. We use two presets. Chr music > Twente and Christian music > preference classical.
(the Christian music is a lot of organ music and church music some with bad sample rates)Is there a way to schedule this? Maybe with a command line option with Windows task manager?
Regards,
Gerrit

KeymasterHi Gerrit! I’m afraid not. There is no scheduling, API or Automation in Breakaway Broadcast.

ParticipantThis is my post about the same question:
Leif, please, think back the answer. It’s an interesting function.

MemberThx for the answers! I search the forum for schedule and not for scheduler 😳 So I didn’t know there
was already a topic. I hope Leif will program it in the next version.June 4, 2009 at 5:09 pm #7383Leif
KeymasterHi guys!
It’s an interesting feature indeed, and it will be a great feature to use for differentiating the future more advanced versions, rather than putting every bell & whistle in the cheap version 🙂.

Guestif you include scheduling, consider to make it ical compatible. would be too cool to use google calendar to control the right presets for Dj nights, sport and news shows, or those traffic hour day parts with lots of ads and pop music..

KeymasterInteresting idea. What would be the right price for a version with scheduling support?
Best regards,

MemberI would build it into a hardware version and not include it with a software version. I mean…c’mon!!!! 🙄

KeymasterExactly what I’m planning to do. I just figured I’d ask 🙂.
Thanks, Sgeirk. Finally someone who’s reasonable!

MemberThe only thing you can do with this version is: create a batch file that kills BA, replaces the ini file, and then starts BA again.
You could shedule this batch file to run at 4 am or something. It will give you a few seconds of silence, but it will work.
Don’t want the silence? Wait for the hardware version:)October 7, 2009 at 3:31 pm #7390Joop Krauthausen
