This might just be me having a “blonde” moment, but I went through quite an exercise recently to get things to fit on the BA Remote screen in the way that I wanted, so I pass this on to save others who may find themselves in the same situation.
Overview:
I run BA1 as a service, and access it through the Management Package – specifically, the program BA Remote. I was using a laptop to remote in, and the meters I had configured fitted nicely across the top of the screen (as in picture 1). I then purchased a new laptop, and installed BA Remote on it. When I connected to BA1, the meters came up all over the place, not neatly spaced across the monitor (as in picture 2).
I tried all the usual tricks to drag the frames to size, then right click options etc. Finally, I stumbled across the little device shown by the arrow, and that lets you modify quite large areas of the layout.
Just thought I’d post this, to save others the frustration I went through. It’s kind of obvious, once you see the button, but I missed it completely.
Picture 1 – the old laptop. Note meters all aligned.
Picture 2 – The new laptop after BA Remote installed. Same meters take up two lines.
Picture 3 – Arrow points to the magic spot to grab and drag to align the graphics.
