Hi Leif,
I would like to request an extra option in Breakaway.
The DSP effects, correct me if I’m wrong, are in effect before processing.
Because I would like to change the color of my sound a little bit I would like to use a DSP equalizer effect after processing, but before output (to one of the pipelines). In this case I don’t want the processing effect my equalizer settings.
I have been looking for an equalizer utility that can work with VAC/pipelines. Unable to find such a utility, unfortunately.Greetz….

Effects must be before the processor, because they would ruin peak control and cause overshoots in the previously tightly controlled signal, which must then be limited or clipped, causing extra distortion for no benefit.
The processor does counter-act EQ, but not all that much. Turn the EQ up a little more for the desired effect.
