Greetings Leif! I have been using OctiMax for many years now since day one as my main real-time digital remastering software/plug-in both at home and at work and I am still a very happy customer. I just gladly found out about Breakaway for Windows thanks to my good olโ€™ friend โ€œMr. Googleโ€. This seems to be a wonderful product not limited to a specific software alone like OctiMax was. OctiMax is the only reason why I still use Winamp now in 2008. I am currently using Windows Vista 64-bit as my main OS both at home and at work and unfortunately I am unable to run/try Breakaway. I know that it is a long and costly process to digitally sign drivers through Microsoft but hopefully it will be done soon. I will definitely order this wonderful software as soon as it is compatible. Your softwares never ceases to amaze. Cheers

    Hi Leif

Same problem here. We did buy a license a few day ago (Win XP) and we did now change the system because of performance problems. Now we do run Vista Home Premium 64bit Edition on the new Hardware.

Can you tell me if there’s a signed Breakaway WDM pipeline driver in progress?

Best regards from cheesy switzerland ๐Ÿ™‚

    Seen on http://www.geekzone.co.nz/freitasm/2010

… You can go around this requirements if in each boot you press F8 and select the option to install and run non-signed drivers. But this is not persistent and in the next boot the user needs to press F8 again and repeat.

-> EDIT: This option does not really work. The sound is very fragmented and noisy ๐Ÿ™

fragmented and noisy… sounds like a buffer issue, not a "not working issue" in which case you wouldn’t have any audio at all. (and windows would say that the driver is not functioning properly)

As far as getting the Vista64 drivers signed, this has already been answered a few times in this forum (did we use the search function before posting? ๐Ÿ˜‰ )
