    BBC 1Xtra sound realy "fat & clean" http://www.bbc.co.uk/1xtra/ stream is only 48k aac, but sounds good.

    How can I replicate this sound with BreakAway?

    Ick.. You’d need something pretty pumpy. Maybe try a wideband comp/limiter instead 😆

    Sounds like they’re running a BBE ahead of their processing to fatten up the bottom end. I concur with Leif that the French Kiss preset in Breakaway comes pretty close.

    They using Optimod 6200 or something for DAB I think. BBC 6 Music also. Correct me If I’m wrong.
