    Hello everyone!

    I have the following question. When i open the program sam broadcaster with no music playing and breakaway live i hear a noise, and when i close sam broadcaster it's gone. A noise that you can discribe like someone is blowing in a microphone. Sometimes it's not there for a few days, but when i restart my computer it's back again.
    I have breakaway live with a license.
    My soundcard is the creative soundblaster z.
    Hopefully someone has an idea.

    your not talking about the fm hiss noise when you open sam before opening breakaway?

    no i'm not talking about fm hiss noise. breakaway is starting up with windows.
    i use the plutonium preset. i have tried some other presets and the noise is much lower or almost gone.

    I had a similar problem.
    On windows:
    Goto control panel, look for hardware & sound & click playback tab..
    Uncheck your default breakaway pipeline by choosing another line..then click back to your original pipeline again. This helps me get rid of noise, loops & such. Don't know if it will work for others though..

    Thanks for your advice!
    I did what you told… but the first time without any result.
    The second time i did it again and before starting up sam again first i did restart my pc.
    After that i startup sam and now it's completely gone.
    I hope that it's gone forever now…
