    Hi All,

    I’m using Breakaway Live for processing my Internet Radio Station.

    I was thrilled to see a DSP plugin that we could use for SAM, as I am now currently sending the audio back to the encoders using my E-MU 1212M.

    However, for some reason, I cannot get LiveLink to work properly with the encoders. Following the instructions carefully, I was able to see the audio (via the meters) in Breakaway, but noticed no change the in encoder meters in SAM from that of the source audio.

    I double checked to make sure ‘Audio Pipeline’ was selected for the encoder source, so that shouldn’t be the issue.

    Anybody have any ideas?

    Also, I’m assuming since the output in Breakaway is set to ‘None’, we’ll have to set up a second Breakaway Pipeline to send the audio to the sound card for monitoring… Does that sound right?

    Leif, this product is incredible… thank you for all of your hard work! Now, how about that VST or DXi plugin 🙂

    Howdy!

    Strange problem. The DSP plug-in should be passing processed audio back into SAM. Thus, you should be getting processed audio out of SAM’s sound card output, and you should definitely see it on SAM’s encoder meters!

    Where did you load the plug-in inside SAM?

    I think I got everything figured out… It looks like I grabbed the wrong LiveLink package… my bad… LOL.

    Uh, great 🙂.

    I don’t understand though. If you were using the wrong livelink package, how come you actually saw the meters in Breakaway? Was the audio coming in through a pipeline?

    Sorry, I didn’t see your follow-up until today.

    Now that I have it working with the correct LiveLink package, I’m a little baffled too 🙂

    I ran through the setup exactly as written.

    It may have to do with the EMU-1212M… I think I had a ‘Send’ enabled to Wave 1/2.

    I dunno…
