Sorry to call you out personally, but with the release of Mac OSX 10.7 Lion, VolumeLogic no longer functions PERIOD.

The Mac community love you and the product, and ask that you could drop by the support thread we’ve created located HERE to give us some info on the possibility of BreakAway for the OSX platform. We are willing to help beta test, debug, and whatever else to help!

Please don’t let the best audio enhancer ever for the Mac die :-/

I wish I had time. My to-do stack is currently so high I can’t even see the top through the cloud cover. Adding more is the last thing on my mind.

If I knew a good mac programmer whom I could trust and who would have time to do the project, that could work — but I currently don’t.

So, if we can help you find a good Mac programmer whom you could trust, and who would commit to the project, would that help?

It seems like it should be possible (although I am not a programmer). I mean, we know that VolumeLogic still works in Lion and with the latest iTunes beta. All that needs to happen is for an installer app to copy all the files into the right places, and for the VL GUI window be openable by an iTunes user (the functionality lost in Lion).

Of course, I’m only talking about getting VolumeLogic to work/be in a sellable state again. I have no idea what it would take to port Breakaway over to the Mac…
