I would love to give MPX-Tool a try, but I do not have the possibility to perform the correct input callibration.
Is it possible to post the tilt-correction and PEQ settings for the modified Audiophile 192?

Maybe it’s a good idea to post settings for different soundcards?

Post-it, unfortunately the sound card calibration is only a small part of the problem. Tuners usually require much more tilt and eq compensation than the sound card. So, posting these would be worse than not posting, as there will then be people who believe that by using these settings they’ll be calibrated correctly.

OK Leif, I get the picture 💡
I’ll have to look for a different solution like Pira.
    Thanks!

    Hi there,

I’ve found the page that deals with the modification of the input and the output of the M-Audio Audiophile 192. I’m currently using ST for my radio’s processing needs but I’m having a big phase difference between the 19KHz stereo pilot and the 57KHz RDS signal, measured by the Pira75 analyzer. I’m measuring up to 60 deg difference, which is constanly changing.

I wonder if the modification on the output of this card could help on the elimination of that phase difference.

Any help would be really appreciated!

It would not help at all — both the input and output of this card are phase linear except in the infrasonic range.

I would expect Stereo Tool’s RDS to be generated properly too. Hans does know what he is doing. From the limited information, the most likely culprit is the exciter.

Ok, Leif, thanks for your reply. We are discussing the problem I’m having at http://forums.stereotool.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=3737
Your thoughts on that would be really helpful.
