Hi there ..
– First : I love the sound processing of VL rather than BAE in both platforms : Windows and OSX !
– It would be more profitable, if their will be a developed app from BAE priced $9.99 (a kind of mini BAE) than developing a real BAE for OSX ..
– why VL couldn’t be installed on Snow Leopard ??

I would not use VL even if you pay me money for it (to use it).
IMO if you prefer VL than there is something wrong with your hardware, because VL really squishes everything.
Only in conjunction with the usage of cheap headphones, desktop, LCD or laptop speakers it might improve the listening experience.
But from the point of audio quality VL is really a thing of the past.
I know that still today some people even use VL to transcode (enhance ? 😕 ) their music.
Different people have different needs (and different ears).

(BAE is set to bypass in my machine, and i only APPRECIATE the FM mode: "that only worth the $29.99 price"

(that was the word i was looking for to describe BAE for all presets) everything.

Dude : my machine is MBP with external soundcard M-audio FastTrack Ultra, with Logitech 5.1 speakers for gaming, and Adam speakers for listening to music, headphone : have a couple of them : Klipsh, Shure, Senheiser, Sony, Bose, coupled with Sony X-1060 for PMP
But from the point of audio quality VL is really a thing of the past.
From the point of audio quality you have to listen to the Track the way the Artist want you to listen to it : From a Vinyl Records, not on your computer my friend 🙂
I know that still today some people even use VL to transcode (enhance ? 😕 ) their music.
what i like about VL : yes it squishes the sound, but way less then BAE, is with FM Magic preset : is a sublime touch to the sound : adds woomf and thump to the bass line, neutralize the Mids, emphasis the Highs : yes yes i know its a banal V-EQ processing in Loudness output
Different people have different needs (and different ears).
Yes Indeed .

So BA (Live) is set to bypass in my machine, too ! 😆
I use it for hosting other plug-ins only.
You see sursprisingly we have more in common as you might have thought.
From the point of audio quality you have to listen to the Track the way the Artist want you to listen to it : From a Vinyl Records, not on your computer my friend
I do not agree, because IMO most artists (musicians) have only a very small influence to the recording/mixing/mastering process.
Every kind of recording (stored on vinyl, CDs or whatever analog or digital system) is only a limited reflection of music and always somehow artificially altered (damaged !).
The only way to listen to (traditional) music is to hear it while it is live performed, not on your turntable with a needle that tortures vinyl (music frozen in plastic !) ➡

my friend 😈 😆 8)It happens again and again to me that I hear fantastic music at a concert and then I am disappointed when I afterwards listen to the CD (or vinyl !), because it sounds deadly boring.
And this is not only a problem based on too much compression and limiting.
For people like me that are not perfect musicians the principle of multitrack recording is a great help.
But very often multitrack recording leads to sterility, because it is somehow a perverted technique to record something in small pieces that was meant to be played in one go by the whole band.
We all know most guitarists are batshit crazy and this was true for Les Paul (R.I.P.) the inventor of multitrack recording, too.E.g. Australian singer Sarah Blasko’s studio recordings are only a very weak interpretation of the musical energy that erupts while her live performances with her musicians.

and the Final way is… is to listen to it, from inside the brain-heart of the Artist : you posses the Artist to listen to his Imagination 😈 😆It happens again and again to me that I hear fantastic music at a concert and then I am disappointed when I afterwards listen to the CD (or vinyl !), because it sounds deadly boring.
– This is what happen when you "Extract" the Voice or the instrument performance from The Artist..

In the Studio everyone even the artist is trying to perform, record, mix, master, and design the cover, Boringly n Repeatedly Perfect, But The Charm of The Live : is Imperfectly Spontaneous n Natural in Real Time, with Alive performer

If you had not already written this idea, it would have been my next level of response.
Great, we understand each other in a perfect way. 😀Now I leave this damn’ internet (plastic world) for today and will read some scores of Bach, Mozart and Beethoven (the best sound you can get).
But tommorow I will try to feed these scores (the sheets !) into VL and enhance these with a sublime touch to the sound from FM Magic preset !Have a nice day !
November 14, 2010 at 9:52 pm #5307AnonymousGuestYou Know how the Ancestors (Atlantis and Lumurians) dealt with sound : probably as my last night dream told me :
– They transformed the sound waves into light spectrum, then they charged it into Cristals and precious Gems, then they used Sacred Geometry (Talismans) to give a form to the light-sound charges and to maintained n fermented hermetically into the Gems for any uses!– believe me : i didn’t see that in Star-Gate lol 😆

Seriously? It sounds like DMT. By the way… your brain makes several "doses" worth while you sleep.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dimethyltryptamine
Every night we go to sleep, and our conscience brain just shuts down for this, makes its own DMT, and nobody really knows exactly what’s going on. 😀 I think it’s pretty incredible, and yes I’ve tried DMT while conscience and it’s something very special & powerful, and should not to be abused.December 28, 2010 at 3:55 am #5310AnonymousGuest

and the Final way is… is to listen to it, from inside the brain-heart of the Artist : you posses the Artist to listen to his Imagination
Unbelievable !
