    If it’s true that Winamp is going downhill in popularity, what are people using in place of it when using Breakaway?

    I use Winamp because I love it, and it’s simple, and the media library is great. Not because it’s popular or not.

    Foobar2000 & Songbird are also great.

    I personally like MediaMonkey, it can use most of winamp’s plugins, scripts, and lots of fets. also loads fast, not like itunes IMO.

    I need a process to run a large .wav file through breakaway and then end up with a corrected .wav file written to the hard drive.

    I’m currently using an older version of winamp with a demo version of the old volume logic plug-in for winamp. I have the output settings of winamp set to disk write a .wav file.

    It works but I’d like to find a better way.
