I am looking in to buying one of your products but am a bit unsure which one. I would use it for processing audio on my Twitch Stream and while it would seem the Broadcast Processor would be most suited and using the demo it is very, very nice. Some of the features of this product however do not really apply and the price is a tad on the steep side for my purposes and budget. I also think I would not be alone in that.
With the rise of streaming there would IMO be an opportunity for a trimmed down version of the BBP which would loose the 'specific' broadcast features at a bit friendlier price. What are your thoughts on this?
December 22, 2015 at 7:37 pm #14208blazemongerMemberOn second thought, maybe fix the WIN10 crashes first..
On Tue 22/12/2015 18:14:31 GMT your computer crashed
crash dump file: C:\Windows\memory.dmp
This was probably caused by the following module: vaclcskd.sys (vaclcskd+0x5BCC)
Bugcheck code: 0x139 (0x21, 0xFFFFD0004466A520, 0xFFFFD0004466A478, 0x0)
Error: KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE
file path: C:\Windows\system32\drivers\vaclcskd.sys
product: Breakaway Pipeline
company: Eugene V. Muzychenko
description: Kernel-mode WDM driver
Bug check description: The kernel has detected the corruption of a critical data structure.
A third party driver was identified as the probable root cause of this system error. It is suggested you look for an update for the following driver: vaclcskd.sys (Kernel-mode WDM driver, Eugene V. Muzychenko).
Google query: Eugene V. Muzychenko KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILUREDecember 22, 2015 at 10:17 pm #14209MilkyKeymasterThe latest major update to Win 10 seems to have fixed most BA problems reported in the past. The particular one your debug dump refers to is from the version of Virtual Audio Cables which is incorporated in the product. Try the Win10 update first, then check for the latest version of VAC.

I am aware this is an issue with he VAC but I can't use the product for my purpose without it.
I have uninstalled the demo as I can't afford my production setup coming down when live on stream obviously.I may come back to BBP if I find information this has been resolved. It's unfortunate as I think the product sounds fantastic.

[/quote]breakaway live would probably meet your needs if or when you get breakaway to work
January 9, 2016 at 5:04 am #14212JesseGMemberYes, Breakaway Live is the one to use. Much lower CPU use (since it's not outputting a signal for FM/AM purposes), and much lower latency so if your encoding system has very low latency, you'll only need to use a few milliseconds of video delay (if you even notice a difference).
