I purchased the software and it was working fine with Youtube or other application audio on windows 10. But when I tried to used Itunes it wont work.
How to be able to use this app using itunes?
February 11, 2019 at 10:48 pm #5748MilkyKeymasterWith some play-out programs, you need to use Virtual Audio Cables (included with BA1) to intercept the audio and input it to BA1.
February 12, 2019 at 1:13 am #5749MrKloroxParticipantYou can make sure windows is assigning it the correct audio device by pressing the windows key then typing "Sound Mixer Options" without the quotes to enter the windows advanced sound mixer. Make sure Line 1 (Breakaway) is selected as the Master Output or as the chosen output for iTunes in case anything but the default is chosen.
I'm sure there is also a setting in iTunes to make it use a certain device, though I don't know what it is or how to get to it. Google will probably have more answers for that part considering how popular iTunes is.
Sometimes plugging in headphones or connecting something with Bluetooth will make Windows think you want to listen to that device instead of letting Breakaway process the audio first. This will change the default device, so remember to change it back through the mixer or Window's Sound panel.

April 9, 2019 at 2:59 pm #5751dancemusicradioParticipantHi there. Breakaway pipeline does not seem to be supported within itunes. However, incase i'm wrong and it's just a problem at my end, To change the sound driver in itunes, click preferences and then playback.
May 8, 2019 at 3:07 pm #5752JesseGMemberIf Breakaway Pipeline doesn't show up in iTunes soundcard output preferences (I'm assuming there is such a preferences because you are telling me, i do not use Apple products)… then Apple are specifically doing this on purpose, and you need to contact Apple support to have them fix their problem that they created. Good luck with that. 😀
If we see a bunch more reports of this, obviously we'll communicate with them, I still have some decent contacts there (including a vice president) so… I can make things happen. But obviously I'm waiting till we get flooded with people reporting the same problem before I bother anyone at Apple about it.
I hope you can figure out the problem. 🙂 Have you tried re-installing Breakaway Pipeline? reinstalling iTunes? reinstalling QuickTime or whatever other Apple software that iTunes or any other Apple product/s that you have installed on your computer?
Hi there. I haven't looked into this any further myself as i have no need to use itunes with breakaway pipeline. It was curiosity to see if it could work that caused me to have a look to see if it would work.
All good. 🙂 If it's a non-isolated problem, I'm sure you won't be the last to mention it.
