I have BAE on my laptop. Normally the output is set for the laptop speakers. At times, I also plug my laptop in to my 52" Sharp HDTV via HDMI to watch movies. I would love an easy way to quickly change the output on BAE from the toolbar without having to go in to the main settings. Maybe a right-click menu option…
Have you considered that?

Look in the drop-down menu for audio devices and identify the device controlling the audio components.Manipulate the sound control sliders in the Sound Mixer panel. Open this panel by mousing over the speaker icon in the toolbar and choosing "Sound Mixer." This option allows the user to adjust sound per application.

I am looking for an easy way to quickly change the OUTPUT of BAE from the internal laptop speakers to the HDMI output. I was hoping for a more direct way to do it from the taskbar volume control (like a right-click menu item) without going in to the main settings on BAE.

April 6, 2012 at 3:00 pm #5176lenyek_penyekMemberHow about making multiple output at the same time?
For example, output through my motherboard built in 3.5mm jack and through my USB headphones at the same time.
Its easier for me to compare the sound quality that goes through both.

Voting up since I have headphones / pc speakers / HDMI. 🙂
November 18, 2013 at 12:44 am #5178JesseGMemberYou'll have to wait for the next Breakaway products to come out. It's been a while coming, but for the most part the current products do work great, and are ~bullet proof. There are more concerns on today's modern systems, than when the current public Breakaway was created, and this is one of them. 🙂

[/quote]I'm glad to hear that development hasn't stopped on Breakaway. You are right! BAE is bulletproof. Even on Windows 8.1, it works smoothly without fail. Very happy with the program!! I would certainly love to see some of these other features be added though.
June 22, 2014 at 2:10 pm #5180tuningjjMemberAny progress yet on this? I have a bluetooth headphone and I would like to use BreakAway with it. So a way to chose other outputs instead of "speakers" would be great!
Does anybody have any experience with bluetooth and Breakaway? Is there a way to make it work together?
Thanks.

How is the progress coming along for a new version of BAE?
