Hello,
I'm currently playing about with Breakaway One and deciding whether to go ahead with the upgrade from BBP; however, I have a few queries first in regards to the new software.
– Can you stream from the FM module rather than the HD module like in the old BBP?
– In BBP I used the 50us Pre-Emphasis to stream with a 30hz LPF and 16000Khz Bandwidth HPF. I've seen LPF and HPF in the 'Monitor' section but nothing in the HD Module?In regards to the last point above I know you do not need this and should not really use them for streaming, however it was a preference of mine as I preferred 'that FM' sound online and the bandwidth filter helped filter out any unwanted artifects on the 'top end'. The LPF helped the bass in all music sound familiar and similar rather than bass sounding slightly different in different styles and types of music, again, this is a preference of mine as it was the style I liked.
In regards to the Pre-Emphasis I really liked the 'Sparkle Top End Sound' it would give (of course using De-Emphasis) as it would add clarity and make the top end sound similar in all types of music. Again on air sound preference.
Can any of this be achieved using BBO for streaming. As I'm struggling to get that clarity and shape of Plutonium of the old BBP.
Many thanks for your help.

Maybe your expertise could shed some light in helping to shape the sound please?
In BBP I used the following settings if this helps:
Plutonium NR
Range = 40
Power = 35
Speed = 55
Bass Cut = 0
Bass Shape = 0Plugins:
Phase Rotator V1.01
Bass Enhancer = 3
Impact:
Slam = 2
Clunk = 3Pre-Emphasis = EU 50us
Bandwidth = 16Khz
HPF = 30HzAny guidance would be really appreciated.
Many thanks,

Not within the software. Now that HD/Streaming cores are their own unique thing, it wouldn't be good to leave temptations for users to do things that compromise the fidelity of their sound.
- In BBP I used the 50us Pre-Emphasis to stream with a 30hz LPF and 16000Khz Bandwidth HPF. The majority of the processing isn't effected by sub-bass or very high treble. Only the limiters & clippers are. If you are using lossy codecs, they will handle LPF automatically for you, and you shouldn't be getting any audibly negative effects from sub-bass… unless something is drastically wrong with your source like a loud 5 Hz hum. 😛
As I'm struggling to get that clarity and shape of Plutonium of the old BBP.
You wont' be able to achieve exactly the same sound since Plutonium was reworked once for the Omnia.9 series (new and most think an improved sound), and then reworked again into a 5-band preset, with less features, for BreakawayOne.March 30, 2017 at 1:51 am #14823WayneMemberThank you for taking the time to answer my questions Jesse and I hope you are well.
So in regards to the built in HD streaming codec would you say it is better than the edcast being used to BBP (in terms of clarity and the handling of audio etc)?
If Plutonium was reworked for the new BreakawayOne with 'less' features is there anything I can tweak to get a similar sound as the settings I used in the old BBP is above.
The best way to describe my main issue if I'm completely honest is that BBP had a certain characteristic, a certain sound that no matter what audio you threw at it, old or new it would come out sounding polished with the same 'sound' for example you could play a vinyl and it would have the same tone as a modern chart song.
With the new Plutonium I'm finding it doesn't 'alter' the character of the music as the old preset?
It may just be me that I've been listening too long looking for faults maybe? I'm not sure and could do with a second opinion or help shaping the sound maybe?
Any further input would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
