I’m running the latest versions of Flash in fully updated versions of Chrome and Firefox on XP, with all the updates. I have the latest version of Breakaway, too.

Every time I try to load any Flash media – games, videos, whatever – the audio will only work if I set my system’s output to the device instead of the Breakaway pipeline. Breakaway works with everything else including other audio in the browser, and flash works with the rest of my audio outputs. I’m just a little perplexed. Has anyone else has this problem? If you know of a possible solution any help would be appreciated.

I haven’t had that problem. Make sure Breakaway is running before you start FireFox of course, or FireFox and Flash will be using the wrong soundcard.

You could also try uninstalling Breakaway, and the installing the latest version as listed here:

to make sure the pipeline is actually installed properly.

    good luck
