Windows 64-bit is supported in Breakaway, and has been supported ever since the first version. I’m not sure what’s going wrong yet, but before we go further into troubleshooting, could you try the latest beta version?
I’ve made many other Windows 7-related compatibility improvements, so it’s definitely worth trying.

That’s the version i am using, searched for this issue a while before i posted this and came across that beta version.November 6, 2009 at 1:25 am #4969LeifKeymasterHi Ruran!
I just tried it again on a fresh Windows 7 64-bit machine, and it worked perfectly for me.
Where are things going wrong?
For example, are you getting the following prompt:
If so, what are you answering? If not, have you made any changes to the system driver policy?
Best regards,
///LeifNovember 6, 2009 at 1:38 am #4970AnonymousGuestI do get that prompt, and i check the box and hit install.
November 6, 2009 at 2:52 am #4971LeifKeymasterRuran, I’m afraid I don’t have an answer at the moment. It works on every 64-bit machine I’ve tried it on, and without having it fail in front of me, I don’t know where to even begin looking. I will make a note of the issue and do my best to reproduce / solve it in the future.
You could also try to install Breakaway Broadcast or Breakaway Live and see if it has the same issue.
One more thing — open Device Manager and look at Sound, video and game controllers. Do you see Breakaway Pipeline, or any unknown devices in there?

Nope the only thing in there is Realtek High Definition Audio. Thanks for the support though, it’s always great to see a program with active support (and even better on that doesn’t take days upon days to respond).

September 2, 2010 at 8:29 am #4974AnonymousGuestI am getting this error as well. XP 32 Home, the current trial 1.30.02 version.
The last line of the error message drives the dissapointment home… "Your computer has not been modified." Like I found out I was on Pimp My Ride and then Xzibit told me "Your car has not been modified".
quote :Error installing Breakaway Pipeline driver! This driver is required to route audio from windows into Breakaway.
Setup cannot continue. Your computer has not been modified.
