I am still trying Breakaway, but will soon buy a license.
The sound is more than overwhelming and impressive. It turns my PC
into a top quality stereo set.
During the trial I have noticed however, that on my PC the picture and the dialogue is not completely synchronized when you play DVDs and watch live TV.
You can see it on the movements of the lips.
This is not the case when I use my ordinary Realtek Audio.
I understand that the sound in Breakaway is processed, but can it take so much time that you can see it?

Can this be changed in the settings?

yes it can be fixed. open the main breakaway window, right click the multiband area, go to settings, change the buffer to 768 on both in/out and 4 buffers. seems to have verry little to no delay, and is still enough buffer for my machine to play without cracks/pops.

    Hi efalck!

By any chance, are you using Windows Vista?

If so, it’s a known issue, and will be fixed in the next release. 🙂
