Hi all,
I can’t set cue on SAM, i get this error:[attachment=0:2x6q68e5]sam-cue-error.jpg[/attachment:2x6q68e5]
I have Soundcard on motherboard, Via High Definition Audio.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks
August 15, 2009 at 10:26 am #8089LeifKeymasterThe error message says that the sound card is busy. Are you using the sound card in another program at the same time?

August 17, 2009 at 11:05 pm #8093drshaneMemberIf you’re using Livelink then your air output doesn’t need to feed Breakaway Pipeline. If you’re feeding the Breakaway to your sound card, then it would probably tie up the sound card. As I understand it, Livelink bypasses the pipeline, you only need to select the pipeline in Breakaway as a placeholder. Unless you are using your sound card for something like feeding an FM transmitter, you don’t need to feed Breakaway directly to it, you can feed the processed sound via the air out in SAM directly to the sound card.

Yes I have webradio and I don’t have trasmitter but send only streaming.I have set DirectSound output in Output Driver and set Breakway Pipeline as Output device: cue now work but i get a little bit Crackling sound.
A question now is : how listen master output? Thanks
August 18, 2009 at 1:45 pm #8095drshaneMemberYou just need to send the air output from SAM to your sound card, you don’t need to send it to the pipeline, LiveLink does that automatically for you before the air output.

August 18, 2009 at 6:40 pm #8097LeifKeymasterRadiodisco, could you explain exactly what you are trying to do, perhaps take a screen shot of every page in the SAM configuration?
I’m pretty sure it’s a configuration issue, since many people are successfully using Breakaway Live with SAM, so it’s probably not a compatibility issue.
Maybe we can help you figure out what the problem is if you can give more information.
Best regards,
///LeifAugust 19, 2009 at 3:59 am #8098radiodiscoMemberLeif,
I do not listen to the cue, but thanks to drshane I changed settings and now works.
I would like now to understand how to listen to the output of what play SAM.
This is my settings:August 19, 2009 at 8:33 am #8099LeifKeymasterAh, since Breakaway isn’t using the sound card now, you should be able to select the sound card as the output device in SAM, right?

August 19, 2009 at 9:47 pm #8100radiodiscoMemberYes I can listen now by cue but not by air…
August 19, 2009 at 11:55 pm #8101drshaneMemberChange the output device for AIR output to the sound card you want to listen to it on
