Hey folks,
I’m new to the forum and I have enjoyed reading all the great information here. I have looked through several posts to see if anyone had a similar situation and have not found any that really relates to my issue. I am also new to the high fidelity and studio processing, so please bare with me. I have been around a lot of broadcast though, as my dad is a retired television broadcast engineer.
My project involves high fidelity in Ham/cb radio. I have downloaded Breakaway Broadcast regular, Live and ASIO and still have this strange ripple in my AM carrier. I’m not sure if it is the settings I am using or the usb mic interface. I purchased the Creative E-MU 0202 interface as according to the preferred interfaces on the list. I have tried different cables and different computers with still no fix. The ripple in the carrier is there whether the program is running or not and when the program is running the audio sounds great coming just out of the output of the 0202 with headphones. When the output is run into a radio the ripple can be heard. I thought maybe someone might have run across this using this device. I have included a link to a Youtube video to show what it looks like.
