I thought there was a way to set up breakaway live so that the audio feeding the speakers can be EQed without effecting the On-Air signal?
Am I wrong with this thought?
I currently have it set up this way. I have all audio from the mixer fed into channel 1 of my ESI Maya44 soundcard. I then have it set to output to Channel 1/2 and 3/4. Channel 1/2 fed back into the onboard soundcard for encoding and broadcast. 3/4 is supposed to be the speakers in the studio. But I notice that when I change the EQ settings, it changes the on-air sound too. What am I doing wrong here?
