Can someone explain how a configuration dump works? I am guessing it takes all settings and puts them into a backup. But, how do you restore those settings if needed?

    Thanks in advance!

A configuration dump is typically used if you need to send information to CEA in response to a bug, or to apply for a licence.

There is also an option to save your entire configuration and setup to a zipped file. this can be imported to set up a fresh install rather than having to go through every setting manually.

Where is the importer located for doing a fresh setup?

    Thank You

I’m not aware of an import option (others correct me if I’m wrong), but, if you export a configuration zip file of your working version of BA1, you have a copy of all the settings of the working program. This is basically everything in the folder {Systemdrive}/users/{username}/AppData/Local/BreakawayOne.

If you do a fresh install, close BreakawayOne, then rename the BreakawayOne folder above to BreakawayOne_old. Now unzip the backup to the same folder name. Restart BreakawayOne and the setup should now be the same as the old.
