Hi, I turned on my laptop this afternoon to discover that Breakaway isn’t working. The program runs fine, but no matter what sort of audio I play (.avi files, .mp3 files both individually and through iTunes, internet radio and DVD’s etc.) Breakaway won’t pick it up. It simply acts as though there is no audio playing. In other words, the audio plays, and I can hear it, but although Breakway is running and responsive, it isn’t processing the audio. I’ve checked the Pipeline, and as far as I can tell, everything is as it should be. I’ve been running Breakaway on my Windows XP system for weeks now and it was working at least up until last night with no problems at all. Any ideas?

    Thanks

Check your default Audio Device in Control Panel for sound playback. Make sure it’s Pipeline. That can change depending on what you have installed/uninstalled.

Make sure the "bypass" button in Breakaway isn’t enabled. If it’s the demo, it will start to bypass the audio after the 30 day demo is over, but you can enable it manually for 30 minutes at a time.
