Hi guys!
Please test this release candidate:
It contains a new version of Breakaway Pipeline which fixes earlier potential stability problems, as well as much improved Standby/Hibernate support.
Please note that the Breakaway Audio Enhancer installer does not force a pipeline update, so to try the new version of the pipeline you have to uninstall any existing version first.
It also contains a workaround for the Windows 7 32-bit toolbar display problem, but it’s only a workaround — I will redo the toolbar completely in the near future. Current time constraints preclude getting a brand new toolbar (with 64-bit and proper transparency support) into this release.
This release, as compared to 1.2, does feature a completely rewritten audio i/o back-end designed for Windows 7, so it’s an important major release. I appreciate any testing you can do 🙂.
Best regards,

So Far, So Good! I haven’t come across any issues yet. The only thing I’d mention is the Fake Sleep and Fake Hibernate options in the context menu of the tray icon. I don’t know if those are needed in a final release.
Thanks again for a masterful product! Have a fantastic trip!

I downloaded 1.3RC this morning onto my Acer Timeline 4810T laptop with an Intel Core 2 Solo (1.4Ghz), 4 GB of RAM and the on-board Realtek sound card. I’m running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.
This is the computer upon which I have been running BAE 1.30.02 for several months without any issues.
Download and installation went off without a hitch and audio is running through just fine. Even the toolbar is present and working. (I do have a Breakaway Live toolbar question, but I’ll post that separately on the appropriate forum).
I go into and out of Standby all day long on this computer (and honestly I’ve never once had an issue with it not waking up due to Breakaway or any other software for that matter) and will be happy to report back on its longer-term performance.
Thanks for the chance to test-drive this, and for an awesome product all the way around!
Jim

Jim[/quote]This is an old post (Dec 2009), so if I’m correct you just downgraded to 1.30.00RC from the 1.30.02RC that you have been running for months. I would reinstall 1.30.02 again.
