    Hi, I have update to Windows 8 pro, Breakaway don’t run and return a internal error, don’t run in Windows 8?

    I’m running Breakaway on Windows 8 without any problem.

    Did you do anything special to get it to install? The installer errors out for me when it goes to install the audio driver.

    I figured out the issue. A Google search returns this page:
    http://www.claessonedwards.com/winmore.htm, which links to a very old version of Breakaway. I tried to install that not realizing it was old.

    I ended up getting 1.30.2 from here:
    http://www.softpedia.com/get/Multimedia … ncer.shtml

    That version works on Windows 8, but I have no way of knowing for sure if this is the most recent version, as the rest of http://www.claessonedwards.com is busted.
    I paid for a Breakaway license, so I’m not thrilled about the fact that the site is busted. What’s the future of this product?

    The demo versions are changed into fully working version with a valid license key.

    The site was hacked but it’s back up. This forum runs at another location. Carry on.
