Anyone know if we can bind breakaway options to a keyboard shortcut?

i.e. Whilst playing a game thats fullscreen, somthing starts playing that Im not fond of and I want to mute it without tabing out of the game.

    Try this free tool:

    http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/volumouse.html
I use this (but I don’t know if it works while gaming ?) with "Master Volume" as component !
Important: Do not select Breakaway Pipeline as mixer device (won’t work). You have to select your soundcard !
(for me it is: Realtek HD Audio output).

Or try this free 2006 Edition of ZVolume:
    http://www.zvolume.com/

Important: there is still an older commercial version from 2003 called ZVolume Pro 3.44 – but I cannot see that this has any advantage over this free 2006 edition.
I think this the same as with thousands of so called software companies, that sell outdated software to inexperienced computer users with a lack of knowledge, that there are better freeware alternatives
(for example MP3 tools, Audio/Video players, etc.).

It is actually bound to the mute button on a multimedia keyboard. The volume too.
