KeymasterOops! That’s what I get for not testing with L/R output enabled.
I have fixed it, and the new version is up.
Thank you for bringing it to my attention!
Best,

MemberIt sure is – it’s amazing! 🙂 It’s fun comparing BBP with Live with both set at 20 KHz – you can really hear the superiority of BBP!

MemberSee Screenshot.
While we’re on the subject of the HPF – any chance of a 20 Hz option? 🙂
I know there’s debate about whether it make an audible difference compared to 30 Hz but the competition has options down to 20 Hz so if possible it would be great!
🙂

KeymasterNo chance, Matt. The filter in BBP is phase linear — 30 Hz is as long filter as I can fit in a 16384 FFT. 20 Hz would require going to filter length 32768, and this alone, with windowing, will ADD a full second of latency.
Thanks for the Bug Report! 🙂 Will fix it.

GuestWhat about ASIO edition? 😥
November 15, 2009 at 12:06 am #8941Leif
KeymasterKernel Streaming / WaveRT doesn’t apply to the ASIO edition. It already runs fine in Windows 7.
You’ve been able to select Left / Right MPX output from the start in the ASIO edition.17.5 kHz and 20 kHz bandwidth does apply to the ASIO version (not 18, the filters aren’t sharp enough to pull it off while protecting the pilot). However, with most customers of BBP ASIO also using RDS, this won’t do any good. So, I’m waiting until I have some other improvements to release a new ASIO version.
