Mid/Side processing (Sum/Difference Matrix) option, for C-QUAM AM Stereo!

Updated Amsterdam, New York and Jill FM presets. Brand new CHR preset.
More intelligent preset vs pre-emph management (more consistent sound for different pre-emphasis settings for each preset).

The slider settings for each preset are individually saved, too. Much easier to A/B compare.

Also, commercial now happens less frequently, so it won’t drive you quite as crazy when testing and evaluating.

Wow… I thought C-QUAM AM died the silent death. Most AM stations here in No. America have eliminated their C-QUAM exciters in favor of the new IBOC system. I was under the impression that C-QUAM was not widely adopted in Europe or Asia and in those places where it is used it’s being phased out in favor of DRM?

Can you even find receivers anymore?

    Hi Sparky!

C-QUAM pretty much did — I wouldn’t know where to buy a receiver either. (It’s a shame, it was such a neat system, and sounded great for AM!)

However, it was pretty easy to add support for Mid/Side stereo, and it was fun, so I figure if it generates even a single extra sale, it was worth the time. 🙂

    Hi Cleiton!

    I’m sorry, I didn’t see the question before 🙂.

It’s beta. I’m still adding new features.
