    Hi guys
What specific features or mechanisms does BA1 use to mitigate packet loss and jitter across IP transport.
I understand there are buffer settings to allow playout during reconnects, and a secondary stream can be configured on an alternative IP connection.
Are there any "hidden" strategies such as packet diversity?
Is it possible to have a description of how the playout buffer works during reconnection, and the inter relation of the backup stream?
What are the advantages using BA1 at both ends of the link, rather than just receiving from a streaming server?
Just trying to get my head around things to know whether to use BA1 or alternative hardware boxes.

    Look forward to any info.

Have you looked at the two videos that Leif produced at the top of this topic? That will probably answer some of your questions, but, Leif is the only one that would be able to provide the technical stuff.

yes, I have watched them.  Conceptually the info is great, and I am using a couple of instances with good results, but am hoping for a little more detail.
