MemberHello,
is anyone else using BBL with Perfect Declipper plugin?
I just added it to my demo BBL setup and must say that it does very good job.Or is it worth waiting for UNDO?

MemberIf you can afford the declipper, I don’t see any reason to wait until Undo comes out in the new Breakaways. As far as I know the new Breakaway stuff hasn’t begun to be created from the new framework yet, or I expect I would be getting stuff to test from Leif.

MemberHello!
Thnx for replaying JesseG.
Would be more than happy to spend my money on Undo – but until than I did buy Perfect DeClipper and I’m now testing it.P. Declipper -> BBL -> Edcast

Well, I like it open! 😀
Sound is targeted for mobile devices so low end is a bit more cutted than usual I suppose…
Thanks for input.

MemberI guess it was some crazy track with lot of highs when i listened..
It would be nice to add pre-emphasis atleast. I know, no pre-emph in BBL.December 1, 2012 at 8:43 pm #13547DavidMB
MemberBoki, do you think the sound would profit with preemphasis? 15us?
I tried already with BBP demo if my sound would be better, but I had a strange feeling while using clipper instead of final limiter. One hand it rounds the sound, but on the other hand – much less details in sound…. Altough I’d like to have it as much as is reasonable possible – loudness is not my main priority in this case …

MemberWell for streaming small pre-ephasis is always good. Also, As far as i understand things, more details, you talking about, you’ll get from clipper then from limiter. But yea, more clip. Since you are not pushing volume, it might be really better. I would over choose BBP over BBL for streaming.

Memberthe current clipper totally owns the limiter, when setup for standard left/right audio, vs fm. there’s lower cpu use versions of it for using less cpu to make it more realistic to use in more places 🙂 like streaming or more channels, etc.
nothing touches it for peak control that i’ve heard, still. 🙂

So for maximum streaming sound quality you’d suggest to use BBP with 15us preemhasis?
With Optimized CPU usage setting?
What really is the difference between Maximum quality setting and Optimized CPU usage setting when BBP is used only for stadard L/R output?
Thanks for your input JesseG and best regards,
