    Are there any plans for a port of BAE to Android?

    The possibility from a technical standpoint depends on how Android opens up its audio engine. I’ve honestly never look at that much, other the oogling a few phones. I’m guessing it’s a full ALSA, so that shouldn’t be a problem – from a technical standpoint.

    There are other concerns of course, like if it’s even worth it to make the product or not. Of course if I had an Android phone, I would want Breakaway on it!!! But it’s not that simple.

    OSX on Intel is the only other platform that the full upcoming Breakaway framework will be available for, from what I understand. 8)

    With the growth of Android this year and the number of people downloading music player apps trying to get a better sound, I believe Breakaway would sell very well. Of course, it would have to be technically possible, as you said, and then Leif would have to find the time to create the app, if he believes it’s plausible to do so. If he ever does, I’ll be one of the first to buy it 🙂
