    Hello All,

    I am testing Breakaway One and want to if there is a freeze setting in the AGC. This prevents the AGC from increasing the volume above a certain db level, especially when there are silent parts of the audio program. Also, is there a way to get 7 bands in the Multiband compressor? I only see 5 bands in the presets.

    I’m personally not sure about the AGC freeze, but BreakawayOne is a 5-band processor.

    Don’t have breakaway One opened right now but I also have Breakaway Live-which is utilizes a differing number of processing bands, dependent on the setting used. I also have Breakaway Audio Enhancer which utilizes a different number of bands.

    Those are not Breakaway One. BA1, BAE, and BAL are all different products. BA1 has a 5 band multiband.

    Hello Again…

    I should rephrase. I meant “gate”, not “freeze”. After further inspection I found there is a gate in place with the AGC. When there is no sound in the audio program the AGC gates and freezes the level from rising.
