    Hi all,

    Looking for some opinions on a setup. We’re planning to run 5 instances of Station Playlist Studio and 5 instances of Breakaway Live on a system with these specs:

    3.16 gHz E8500 Pentium Core 2 Duo
    4 GB Kingston HyperX RAM
    Windows XP
    ESI Gigaport HD USB Audio Interface

    Each channel’s audio will be mixed down to mono in BA and sent to 1 of the 8 audio outs on the Gigaport. Does this system look like it will support 24 hours of continuous use? I am wondering if a Quad Core or Xeon would be better or indifferent.

    Reliability is key here, as we will be deploying these systems on cruise ships worldwide.

    I would get a quad i7 anyways, just so there’s more cores available in case any specs or requirements change too.
