I forgot to mention that the “a debugger has been found…..” message appear for the “WinLicense” warning screen. This process seems to be running under “BAE (32 bit)” in the task manager. I already killed it before starting BAE again, but the same thing happens.

I searched for a “WinLicense” file using the file explorer, as I wanted to create an exception for it, but found nothing. Seems to be a validation process BAE runs at startup. I could not identify other related processes to Breakaway, and I do not know how to find which programs share common memory, so I could kill them with the task manager.

What I did was searching other files with the word “breakaway” and add those to exceptions. There were 3 files found under the folders “c:\users\win10\appdata\local\packages\microsoft.windows.search……”, but it did not make a difference.

Will write Bitdefender to see if they can help.

    thanks Milky

Along with my previous suggestion for more layout options and theme color options for the eye candy, hopefully both left & right channels could be displayed at once for the original (source) and BA processed output.

Sometimes I just open and resize the main window just for the sake of watching the limiters, spectrum analyzer and waveforms “dance” along with the music while doing their job. Still use and old Winamp version because of the huge visual repertoire it had.

    @MrKlorox,
Thanks for the idea! I was using a big red cursor and just switched to inverted. It takes a little to get used to it, but it works as a workaround as you mentioned.

    Cheers!

Not sure if this is something that could added to the whish list or is something Windows related. I use a 4K TV as monitor with a large sized mouse cursor, it would be nice if the pop-up descriptions could be moved further to the side or above the cursor, so they would not get blocked by the cursor itself. It drives me nuts, but I guess it’s a Windows thing that I have not found a way around it.

I took a snapshot, but could not attached it to the post….

    Thanks Milky, will try those.

    More suggestions:
*Improve or make clearer the equalizers preset descriptions for the average/non-technical users. Helix, French Kiss, Perfect Blend, Eruption, could be more descriptive on how they are changing the sound. Probably a small EQ graph next to each preset description could be helpful to give a visual idea of how they are modeling the sound.

*Also as MrKlorox already mentioned, customs presets with with graphic eq options (hopefully 7 bands or more).

*More Windows toolbar layout options, I like the meter setting for eye-candy and handy volume, bypass controls. But I would prefer a layout with larger space for the eq bars and the volume, bypass controls moved to the side. Both the bypass and volume are a little difficult to adjust on 4K.

*More skin color options, and some different full screen layouts.

Hi Everyone, already some great suggestions, so here are others that hopefully could be considered (some are repeated as I would like to cast my vote, sort of speak):

*A batch audio processing tool or a winamp dsp plugin like (as MrKlorox mentioned), to re-encode multiple mp3 or FLAC files for car or portable device usage. Curretly I use dbpoweramp and apply ReplayGain EBU R128 for my car playlists, but the results are nowhere near as good as they sound with BA on my PC. I believe you could do this with winamp + volume logic, Leif’s previous app, but again not no even close to how good BA sounds. Would gladly pay for this even if it was a separate program purchase!.

*A preset tailored for voice such as podcasts and audiobook listening.

*A neutral preset with a flat eq that would only normalize and prevent clipping, without changing
    the source sound.

    *A declipper option.

*An android system wide version (like Eqfy or Poweramp equalizer) or plugin for music players such as Poweramp, Jetaudio, USB Audio Player PRO or neutron player.

*Shortcuts to switch between favorite presets.

*I don’t have one, but maybe multi-channel processing option could be added for PC home theater setups.

*I don’t have or use Mac/apple products but this also could be a good option to expand BA’s customer base as well as a Linux version.

*Not sure if there is a way around it or I’m missing something, but when using a USB decoder and headphone amp, BA gets bypassed (I guess this is the idea of the USB decoder, bypassing the sound of the motherboard, but I would like to have an option so BA could also process that output as well.

*Agree on the scaling option for 4K and future 8K monitors. I currently use a 55 inch 4K TV as monitor and the menus are still WAY too small.

Nice to hear BA development is still going! Love the software.
