Hey guys, nice to hear from you both, hoping all is well with you guys?

I haven’t used BAE in a while and can’t locate my license for it but I will first install the trial on a laptop to test and will report back when I should get the chance to do this, appreciate it.

Ok guys so next phase. Can anyone give us or lead us to “instructions” on how we can get BA1 to work with BA1 plugins and all other audio sources being played the pc please? I have sent a request to ba1 Support this morning but no response as of this writing.

Yes so that plugin works fine now and I can switch between two plugins on the screen as long as they both have bypass buttons. Problem is finding an equivalent of my 2 preferred plugin effects “in 32 bit versions” but I will keep searching.

Just a thought, last night I had very briefly glanced at any options to either convert from a 64 plugin to a 32 or use a 64 in a 32 application. Before I should go spending a lot of time on this first I would like to know if it will be a good idea or I should absolutely stick with 32 bit?

Ok, I did some more testing. I used the same MReverb in 3 VST slots after renaming them and they all work fine, so it seems that BA1 might be having issues with different plugins? I will do some more testing tomorrow with the same VST’s in Reaper and report back.

specifically the MReverb and Mdelay and tell me if both works fine and if both interfaces show the bypass button on your end? I am seeing the bypass in Reaper on my Mac and I am going to try on the windows pc now.

Oh wait, to clarify, are you saying we can use Reaper’s plugins in ba1?

With our experiment we are trying to work only with BA1 and OTSAV so trying to avoid having to use any other utilities in between those two.

To update guys, Erik did the experimenting with BA1 today, took some doing but he got it working. Only issues we have to sort out now are it shows the plugins needed are 32-bit so I will need to try to find those if my preferred fx are available in 32-bit. Also there is no way in the fx’s interfaces to bypass the fx so I have to hope I will be able to find my preferred fx’s with a bypass feature.

Next, issue will be how to have the audio from any source on my pc come through BA1. This is where we’re at but the audio coming through BA1 sounds great.

Thanks guys, I guess Erik should understand this technical stuff :). I only need to trigger 2 fx plugins, one reverb and one Delay.

Cool. No issue really with all audio sources going through the VST’s since I will only trigger my fav vst fx on/off only whenever needed. Matter of fact it would be a good thing so I can apply vst to any of my media players.
