Thanks for your reply POS1. What would you recommend for the MPX/FM that is not going to be in a similar price range to the Behringer UMC202HD?

    Regards

Hi MrKlorox I increased the Final Limiter Drive from -3 to 0db which has increased the output a little, thanks. I’ll monitor it for the next few days to see if there is any negative impact on me having done this.
Regarding your second suggestion, “Outmix lines in the preset files” which ones are you referring to? I have navigated to \Users\[USER]\AppData\Local\BreakawayOne but the config files and AMX files within this directory and sub directories look far to complex for me to start experimenting with.
Any suggestions of what specific files and what data entries I should adjust would be helpful. Thanks for your advice.

Hi Milky. I am a bit reluctant to do anything on the input side as I don’t want to overdrive it and cause clipping. I’m considering “daisy chaining” the output through an other amp to give it a bit of a boost prior to sending off to the transmitter.

I know what you mean but no, “Listen to this device” is not selected. However, I think it may be that this Behringer UMC 4040 “hard routes” the Input for 1 + 2 to the output 1 + 2, so I changed the input to 3 + 4. I now have a low level output to 1 + 2 and a processed output to 3 + 4. This will have to do for the moment.

Hi Milky. I have tried with just ASIO and also ASIO not configured. Then I tried with using just analogue In and Out, but the issue is the same. It’s almost as if the Behringer UMC 4040 is forcing the Input pair in a mix with the BA1 Processed output when routing it to output 1+2.
I’ve succumbed to have input 1+2 as my input and 3+4 as my Full FM Output. Although I have paid for a low latency license as well I’m just going to resign to the fact that unless I change my Behringer for the 8 channel version I’m not going to be able to have a clean low latency output.

Does anyone have FM or Podcast presets for Voice / Talk Radio please, or just some advice?

    Thanks
