Do we assume you’re back from your brief holiday?
Welcome back, if so!
If not, LOG OUT! Disconnect, un-tether… etc etc…. 🙂

I understand you made it that way on purpose previously to limit functionality and differ it from Professional and Live. Is that still the case or have strategies changed?
Thanks!

I apologize but did you make changes on bass and level to the presets themselves or to how the FM Mode uses them? As well as latency and CPU use. In other words, if I do not use FM Mode, will I benefit from these changes?
Thanks for the clarification.

Thanks, Leif for doing such an amazing job on all of this!
Just another plug for un-skinning the mouse cursor or making it an option.
Thanks!
timmywaParticipantThat odd yet hip song by Owl City, Fireflies, is a good example of a song with a good variance of quiet and louder parts.

I have the same card and that has improved things greatly. I found the Audigy SE runs natively at 48000 and will have to down-sample (or whatever that term is) to 44,100 which isn’t that accurate.
timmywaParticipantAhh Leif! You slipped in another version! What changed between .23 and .24?
Thanks!
timmywaParticipantMichi,
My favorite preset is Zenith… I set range down to 40-45, the power up to 70-75 and leave speed at 50. I boost the bass to +10-+13 and leave the shape at 0.
I love Zenith’s natural sound. Keeps the sound consistent and punchy but without that typical FM processed sound. I leave the range lower as this keeps some of the natural dynamics and lets the songs fade out at the end to a degree. I up the power to brighten the sound, I still like processed audio! The bass needs something more on Zenith.
My next fave is Reference Jazz. That tightens things up but doesn’t quite have the crisp brightness I like.
Still need to explore Plutonium as it’s just been added the Breakaway Audio Enhancer.

Thanks for the detail!
Are you recommending us to uninstall/reinstall on these builds or just over the top?
Also are you using a newer or same VAC? And can you please remove the skinned mouse cursor deal or make it an option? when I VNC to that system, the mouse gets all messy looking.
Thanks again!
timmywaParticipantA few I love:
Lady Antebellum – Need You Now
Most by Linkin Park where theres a quiet verse and the chorus gets really loud and crunchy. BA eats that for lunch!

///Leif[/quote]Leif, what changes from .21 to .22? Could you provide a changelog as we go along, please? I know at the top of this post you mentioned Windows 7 and waveRT capabilities, but was there more?
Also, adding the NR switch to each preset or the the entire engine as it is in Live is still a request I have.
Thanks, as always, you’re incredible!

timmywaParticipantDoes this include a newer VAC? Just wondering if I should re-tune with your resampler.
timmywaParticipantA couple requests… 1: Can you explain the FM mode feature and its settings? and 2:If the preset doesn’t already include it, can you provide the same checkbox to enable or disable NR that’s in Live and BBP?
Thanks.
AWESOME, by the way!!! Thanks.
timmywaParticipantTry feeding into BA at 48000, while leaving the input at 44,100. Check also if BA is running the pipeline at 48000 (the output), chances are your card is running natively at 48000 see if that works.
