I figured as much; my stream sounds great to me just listening without the enhancer. It’s hard to improve on perfection, Leif, and advisable not to try. 😀

    Leif,
If someone uses BA Audio Enhancer to listen to a stream which is already processed by BA Live, will the experience be better or worse?

Is the latest instruction for upgrade installation to install over the current BA Live install, or to uninstall older version and then install the upgrade?

Oohwee! When will it be available for download, and does it come with a driver’s manual? (I think I’ll need one) 😀

I run XP SP3 with 3 of the 4 gig of ram XP32 can see. I use SAM Broadcaster v4.36 and BA Live as well as a system clock synchronizing utility, and have disabled the "nice pretty things" functions in XP; I’ve done nothing special. The machine and system were pristine when purchased, and purchased only to run my station on. My CPU peaks at ~14% during crossfades, PAL script runs, etc, and stays right around 7% the rest of the time. I run nothing else on the machine, but I could easily do so if needed. No stability issues at all.

No no, I wasn’t upset, I was kidding too, Leif; it’s all good 😀

[quote author=”Leif”]Yeah, it’s only for us cool geeks, it’s too much for you, don’t even try it 😉 🙂.

Ok, Ok, I get it 😆

I’m happy enough when the music I stream sounds awesome; I don’t need to know how it happens, as long as it happens. I’ll let you "cool geeks" handle the mechanism which helps me to do that. Fair enough?

Thanks for that explanation, Leif; I feel better now. 😀
For a while there, I thought I was missing out on something everyone should have!

What is the purpose of MpxTool? I’ve read many references to it here in the forums, but I’ve yet to figure out just what it’s used for.

Thanks for answering my follow-up before I had to ask it, Leif. 😀
I wondered if the different programs "played well with each other" (but BAE isn’t on my station system, it’s on my other system I use for everything else); now I know they do. I’ll give BBP a test-run.

    Hi Leif,
I’m a registered user of BA Live (and lovin’ it) and Breakaway Audio Enhancer. Would there any be any type of discount consideration for someone (like myself) who decided she wanted to purchase the full-fledged Breakaway Broadcast version? Also, what’s the difference in CPU overhead between BA Live and the full version? I average about 10% using BA Live, and SAM, with a few PALs running on a dedicated system with 3G ram. Thanks 8)

    Hi yourself, Leif! 😀

It was Aurimas who was the original poster, though. 8)

I downloaded and use two of the programs, and have no indication or reason to believe that they are infected. It’s very possible that your anti-virus program is giving off false positives.
