    Thanks for the information on Windows 7 support. So it's still got a 'couple' of years yet before it's condemned!

    With regards to Windows 10. We use Windows 10 Pro x64 for our studio playout systems and workstations and it works remarkebly well. It will quite happily sit for a few weeks without needing a reboot as long as you've set it up so it doesn't restart without asking. Then once a week we do maintainence and we just swap sustain to another studio and then check for updates and restart everything running Windows 10. It's usually done through the night at the weekend as we have a live DJ set so the workstations arn't in use at that time. Also keeps everything a bit more reliable and quicker by restarting everything once a week too we found  🙂

    Thank you for taking the time to answer my questions Jesse and I hope you are well.

    So in regards to the built in HD streaming codec would you say it is better than the edcast being used to BBP (in terms of clarity and the handling of audio etc)?

    If Plutonium was reworked for the new BreakawayOne with 'less' features is there anything I can tweak to get a similar sound as the settings I used in the old BBP is above.

    The best way to describe my main issue if I'm completely honest is that BBP had a certain characteristic, a certain sound that no matter what audio you threw at it, old or new it would come out sounding polished with the same 'sound' for example you could play a vinyl and it would have the same tone as a modern chart song.

    With the new Plutonium I'm finding it doesn't 'alter' the character of the music as the old preset?

    It may just be me that I've been listening too long looking for faults maybe? I'm not sure and could do with a second opinion or help shaping the sound maybe?

    Any further input would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.

    It's also something I've been struggling with, due to no option for bandwidth control and pre-emphasi. I'm trying to emulate the HD channel (as it's the only one with the streaming function) to that FM 'feel' I had before.

    JesseG,

    Maybe your expertise could shed some light in helping to shape the sound please?

    In BBP I used the following settings if this helps:
    Plutonium NR
    Range = 40
    Power = 35
    Speed = 55
    Bass Cut = 0
    Bass Shape = 0

    Plugins:
    Phase Rotator V1.01
    Bass Enhancer = 3
    Impact:
    Slam = 2
    Clunk = 3

    Pre-Emphasis = EU 50us

    Bandwidth = 16Khz
    HPF = 30Hz

    Any guidance would be really appreciated.

    Many thanks,
    Wayne
