Listen to the new Omnia 9 sound with "undo" process restoring dynamic and cancelling mastering distortion: maxxima.mine.nu:8080/test.mp3
I think "processing" is moved here http://maxxima.mine.nu:8080/maxxima160mp3.mp3 😉
Link is not working.

Listen to the new Omnia 9 sound with "undo" process restoring dynamic and cancelling mastering distortion: maxxima.mine.nu:8080/test.mp3ErwinMemberI’m very curious about the first results from radiostations and internet streams who using the Omnia.9
ErwinMemberWow, sounding great. Perfect preset for that format. Which station is this?
ErwinMemberSounds like Omnia 6. I thought RTL2 is using this box, correct me if I’m wrong.
ErwinMemberNo excuse. Do it good, or not. There are lot of cheap possibilities around like Breakaway.
ErwinMemberI hear a lot of garbage streams. Some streams like feeded directly from the mixing board with no processing in between. Some streams sounds great. For example in the USA. Processing for streaming radio is very underestimated on most of the stations. The stations have lots of money for decent FM processing but there streaming audio sounds like garbage. I don’t know why that is.
ErwinMemberWhat I know is that Flaix FM using an Optimod 8500 also Flaix FM Eivissa (Ibiza)
ErwinMemberThanks. Sounds nice with this danceclassics format.
ErwinMember
Ok Jesse, I’ve found the trick to restore the old presets and now with the preset Twente OB, I came very close to the vintage sound I wanted. Thank you very much. 😀
Can we listen to this stream?
ErwinMemberSounds great. Nice station b.t.w. Website not working?
ErwinMemberI read here that I must install directly in the Breakaway map. I install all the files, Edcast works but I see only the vorsis encoder and can’t use aac+ or mp3 and all files aacplus.dll and lame.dll are directly in the Breakaway map. What goes wrong?
Edit: looks like it works, didn’t click that vorsis encoder before there I can choose for aac+ etc.
ErwinMemberI don’t know what you mean. I have installed the edcast dsp but there is no edcast directory, all the files are in Winamp in the plugins map. When I select the edcast dsp in Breakaway it gives an error what says that I must use the bass.dll. What’s going wrong?
ErwinMemberThey using Optimod 6200 or something for DAB I think. BBC 6 Music also. Correct me If I’m wrong.
