didacParticipant
I don't found the specs of this sound card, please give me a valid link to check if this sound card is valid for BBP.
didacParticipantPara la versión ASIO, el único driver que funciona (y es de 32 bits) es el 2.02 (o incluso uno anterior). Creo que en CD viene incluido uno muy antiguo y es el único que funciona, con el resto no sale sonido.
didacParticipantI have the same problem, clean WinXP SP3 with VAC and RDS works fine, but Breakaway indicates "absent".
I’ve checked a thousand times Airomate settings.
didacParticipantThanks for the info!
Leif is alive!
didacParticipantAnd the others parameters of MPX PEQ?
Please try at 0db gain and check if the sound is OK.
See you!
didacParticipantPEQ is at 0?

Good job!
December 7, 2012 at 6:05 pm in reply to: My Audio Over IP, STL , PCM, QDesign MP2, Ogg Vorbis, mp3 #13331didacParticipantOK, I found the problem, now all formats works.
The ACM formats are disabled automatically, and I don’t understand the cause. I think is Windows or AEPS. Can you know this?
Give me the latest version and I try it 8)
Yes, all people wants high bitrate and high samplerate, but I need to do some test at 128/160/192 kbps. Have you the option to unlock these bitrates?
Thanks!

Now works, I don’t understard, I follow all steps and the reboots. Today the Qdesign ACM was automatically disabled by Windows 😯 I re-activated this ACM and tried.
1.- PCM only have a pulse noise (all bitrates)
2.- MP3 stay connected but don’t have sound (I tried with 320 and 256).
3.- MP2 works fine at 256 kbps 44.1 kHz ! ! ! (Is possible use a lower bitrate on future versions? I want hear MP2 artifacts 8) )I think the problem of yesterday was the soundcard input, I’m using this soundcard (ESI Maya44 PCI) for BBP Live input (without ASIO) at 44.1 kHz, if your AEPS try to open at 48 kHz, may not work
Thanks!

I tried and on my computers didn’t work. I has seriously problems with ACM install on Win7 64bits (problems with rights and with your software didn’t recognizes that OCX file is on the good path), then finally I tried with these computers:
1.- Phisical XP 32 bits for Sender (all OK, ACM OK, Firewall OFF)
2.- Virtual Machine (VirtualBox) with XP 32 bits, Network on Bridge Mode, Firewall OFF, virtual Intel’s Audio.
Sender and Receiver comunicate OK, but 1 second from start, stops with an error:
Sender:
ERROR
The ”Audio Receiver’ is not responding.
Please wait… Deactivating the Streamer.Receiver:

Thanks!
November 27, 2012 at 9:25 pm in reply to: Looking for a good MP2 encoder for use with Edcast? #13536didacParticipantOK, but please read this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MPEG-1_Audio_Layer_II
For example this point:
quote :MP2 performs similarly to MP3 on high bit rates (224 to 384 kbit/s) and is considered more error resilient than MP3, so MP2 is often still used for broadcast applicationsAnd the spanish DVB-T service: http://www.mundoplus.tv/zonatdt/datos_t … C&dem=MPE3 (all TV and radio channels are MPEG1-L2)
See you, and thanks!
November 26, 2012 at 9:24 pm in reply to: Looking for a good MP2 encoder for use with Edcast? #13532didacParticipantEffectively, I prefer MP2 because:
1.- The compression artifacts are different, more "beautiful" than MP3 (the sound is more orbed/round).
2.- Is the standard of ALL DVB-T/S and STL Links because is the professional line.
3.- All reasons that have been appointed in this post.Sorry for my very very bad English, but is difficult explain a sound on another language than my native language.
