Now everything works even the ethernet port is disconnected. I guess it was a conflict between the sound drivers and the network card (realtek), after changing  the emu 0202 by a xonar dx, everything was solved. Strange but true.

Sorry for my english, google translator helps me a little bit

Hi Leif, A month ago I running BBP Asio 0.90.95, XP sp3 and Xonar DX with the latest manufacturer drivers (5.12.8.1861), and I must say that everything is working wonderfully, with low latency and excellent stereo separation. You should check it out now with the new drivers and the latest version of the firmware. I just keep my dear EMU0202 in my closet because I must say, the Xonar DX works perfectly!

    Try changing plugin order:

    1-Autobalance
    2-Phase Rotation
    3-clunk1/slam 2
    4-bass fx 2

Got a fm radio station here in Argentina with classic 80's, and I managed BBP Asio the cleanest and pleasant sound with good dynamics and shine like glass. My setup is as follows, after several days of tests:

    Preset: Helix

    Final Drive -2.2
    Range 68
    Power 30
    Speed 50
    Bass cut -37
    Bass Shape +5

    Impact/Clunk:  Clunk 2: – Slam: 1  / bass efx: 3

    Hi Dimitris!

I have experienced EMU 0202/0404 USB going into a failure mode where the card appears to function perfectly, but no audio comes out. This is either a driver or a hardware problem — I would not recommend these cards in a mission-critical environment.

Pitch-up/Pitch-down is new though, never heard about that.

Breakaway contains an asynchronous sample rate converter, and if the sample rate of the sound card suddenly changes, Breakaway will attempt to resample to keep audio flowing. Breakaway also attempts to restart the audio card if it keeps running at the wrong rate for a few seconds, but it sounds like something must be going wrong with that — or perhaps the card gets into an unrecoverable state?

Anyway, the short answer is that the EMU cards simply are not reliable enough to be used for days on end. It's important to choose the right hardware for the job. Juli@ cards work great, and so do Marian Trace Alpha cards.

In my case, Emu 0202 gets muted when i unplug the network cable (turning off the network router, or simply unplug the rj45) , (bbp asio vumeters stills working, but no audio or mpx signal gets to fm exciter), emu or network card driver problem,? i need to restart to work again, any help will be appreciated…
