    Hi guys,

    Sorry about the delay.

Yes it has resolved all the problems. Not one glitch in four days! 🙂

Very happy. no more restarts for me. I may do it on a weekly basis anyway.

It seems to be Asus motherboards with the C1 and hardware acceleration options in the bios.

    Cheers,
    Ethan

    Hi All,

Thanks for all the tips and comments.

I’ve tried disabling heaps of things such as the C3 thing in the Bios / Hardware CPU accelration etc on my Asus Motherboard in the bios and so far no clicks.

I’ll keep monitoring past 24 hours and see if its resolved.

    Will keep in touch

    Cheers!

    Hi Stationx,

Thanks very much for your comment. That is helpful to know thank you.

I’ve had a hunt and compiled of list of things which could apply to my setup I could try. I have a feeling its more tended towards Driver issues. I remember installing the very latest driver from M-Audio and on each reboot the device stopped showing up. So I uninstalled the second to newest and its remained working but with this issue.

I’ve tried unticking Breakaway as a Priority and will continue to monitor. Hopefully this will resolve the continuous random clicks.

    Thing I’ll try:
    – Look and disable Intel Speed Step in BIOS if exist
    – Look and disable hardware acceleration in windows
    – Disable CPU Throttling in the BIOS

What sound cards are other BBP ASIO users (any M-Audio? What drivers and OS?)

Breakaway Broadcast Processor ASIO doesn’t seem to have Virtual Audio Cables like BBP Live does?
