It would be the first FM broadcast sound processor with RF output !!
Can you imagine ?!!! a small box that would be able to send 1 to 30 watts of driving RF power with the absolute perfect sound on the planet ! 🙂But , this may be a project without lots of money..
IN TOPIC : I thought that if someone could create a 10,7 MHz usb or pci card on a pc he would be able to make an ultra clean RF signal.
BUT , someone here has made the impossible! , a simple FM exciter with DDS technology which is "fully DDS "
AND HAS VERY LOW SPURIUS AND HARMONICS !! This was impossible for low cost DDS

BUT ,after Sigmacom code invention.. the PCI or USB "fully DDS without ..10,7.." project is …. A MAGIC !!75 KHz modulation Breakaway Fm with Leif’s hardware MPX advanced clipper and a fully DDS exciter by sigmacom !!!, stable carrier , and a perfectly linear sound!! Ohhh my !!!!! This would be the loudest station on the PLaaaaaaaaaanet earth!!! 🙂
FINALY : i can tell you that i am gonna try on my radio station here in Crete Island ( in Greece ) the beta DDS FM exciter if Sigmacom . This 30 watt DDS beta exciter of Sigmacom will drive the 2.5 Kwatt RVR amplifier with the 130 KWatt EIRP system very very soon! Let’s test it!

Spanky can you suggest me 2 of the most stable PLL exciters that have a cost less than 2500 dollars ?
( or can someone of you build a 30 watt exciter without stereo and rds encoder inside ) and i will give him 2500 dollars through paypal immediately! ( i use an rvr exciter which has many problems with low frequencies 30, 40 even 50 Hz ! )

the breakaway fm …modulation power i have achieved at 75 KHz ..needs a new exciter to work stable.. 🙂

IMPORTANT !1) did you clean up the RDS spectrum ? ( better filters for rds signal ?)
2) did you fixed the mpx clipper for not causing overshoots and distortion?
3) what are the new repeation rates to this latest version for the groups ?in our days ..everyone have powerfull CPUs , so please clean up a little bit the speectrum!

Your competitor Stereotool has made it …with mpx clipping.Leif, You are the best BUT please add a simple simple simple simple MPX clipper.
Not the advanced low distortion MPX clipper which..you ll make hardware..but a simple MPX clipper.🙂plzzzzzzzz

this is very very important feature becuse some radio stations have very cheap FM exciters which are very sensitive with bass frequencies.a final mpx bass eq would be great. ( not parametric, but standart, 30, 40 50 60 hz for the final mpx just like StereoTool does…

Group type 0: A:83 B:83 ok
Group type 1: disabled ok
Group type 2: A:16 B:16 why only 16? what does group type 2 ?
Group type 4: 0 why 0 ? what does group type 0?
Group type 10: disabled2nd question ,..
have all the groups make 100% all together or not? can i make 150 % ?3nd question….
Is it worth to put the RDS level to more than 4 % in order to achieve better recieption on car radios?

I made a much cheaper …project for having a clean audio when switching from one antenna to another from heraklion city to moires city or tympaki area..
The second transmitter on Axendria mountain… broadcasts with modulation 45 , 50 Khz , and the main transmitter at Vassilikos mountain broadcasts at 75 Khz.
with that difference i achieve a much much affortable distortion when the car driver goes to a place where there is equal signal from both transmitters!of course..this is very very shitty way…
i wish you could make a low cost project for clean audio on areas where there is a signal from both transmitters..This is ry@thm@oS 1o4,5 radio station from heraklion city – crete island ,
