    Hello!

    I’m connected to the internet using a proxy.
    That means that, for example, on the web browser I’ve to set the proxy’s IP and port to get it working.

    Is there any way with Edcast to set proxy’s IP-port? I can’t broadcast without that, because it doesn’t connect…
    If not, do you know another program that let me stream using a proxy?

    Thank you very much!!

    Well, Stereotool is for the RDS… And VLC is used to pick up the audio stream from the studio.

    Thanks!! ๐Ÿ˜€

    [quote author=”radio oude stijl”][quote author=”rdr”]Hello!!I’m thinking if it would be possible to let the Breakaway main processing (New York preset) in the studio, and then buy another PC with Breakway (with presets ยฟยฟยฟProtection Clip 6dB, Protection Limit 12dB???) at our Tx site.[/quote]
    Why??? Why not just keep the pc at the TX and use your STL unprocessed?[/quote]

    Because we change the "preset" depending on the kind of the music program that we transmit (New York for Rock/Pop, then French Kiss for Dance) ๐Ÿ™„

    So, would it be possible to make an STL with processed audio and then, "re-process" that audio on the Transmitter?
    Would it damage the audio so hard?

    Thanks!

    [quote author=”radiorio”]Two questions:

    Which version of windows are you running?

    Can you find dsp_edcast_v3_0.cfg?[/quote]

    I’m running Win7.
    I can’t find any .cfg of Edcast… ๐Ÿ™

    [quote author=”JesseG”]Assuming you already have EdCast running in Breakaway… have you also created an mp3 encoder in EdCast yet?[/quote]

    Yes, I’m broadcasting a stream on the internet… but the ".cfg" doesn’t appear, with this version of Edcast or with older versions… ๐Ÿ˜ฅ

    Hi,

    I’m using the lastest Edcast version (3.33),and following this manual (viewtopic.php?f=5&t=1533) but I can’t find this:

    quote :

    Go to My Computer, and browse to C:Program FilesBreakawayBroadcastPlugins. You should see dsp_edcast_v3_1.cfg. Right-click this file, choose Open With, and click your way through until you can select Notepad.

    You need to change a few settings inside the file:
    Code:
    LameCBRFlag=1
    LameStrictISO=0
    LameDisableReservior=0
    LameQuality=0
    LAMEPreset=12

    I can’t see the "dsp_edcast_v3_1.cfg." archive.

    What am I doing wrong?

    Thanks.

    [quote author=”JesseG”]I tried messing around with French Kiss for 5 minutes… adjust drive to taste.

    You also need decent stereo enhancer settings of course, since that’s a big part of that sound too…

    Have you tried Motor City with the bass down a tad?[/quote]

    Do you think that the final drive at +4dB is too much???

    I can’t sound as loud as the other stations…. ๐Ÿ™

    I like A LOT the sound but… Is there anyway to put more bass on it?? I like clear highs, wide stereo and punchy bass… ๐Ÿ˜› ๐Ÿ˜›

    It sounds very good. I’ve set the drive at 2.0dB, basscut at -30, spartacus plugin set at 80ms and 100% (i like it more than the stereo enchancer of BBP as the effect is more "louder"), bass efx at 3 and impact/clunk 1-2.
    I don’t know if these settings are correct for FM broadcasting?ยฟ? It souns very good ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚

    I upload the record, please JesseG, can you confirm with this MPX that this model of Orban is 8600 and the better parameters are the you have said?

    I realize that this station sounds dirty, but I have a friend who wants that sound.

    Thanks!!!!

    Hello, I’m interested in this too!!! ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€
    It’s amazing that only hearing an audio file you can say what processor are they using… ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

    [quote author=”Modulator”]The recording sounds like mono, so we can’t actually determine if there were any stereo effects..
    Of course streams are stereo.

    But oh my god, listening to this makes me miss summer ;([/quote]

    Oooops ๐Ÿ˜ณ
    I recorded it in a mono setup. I’m sorry ๐Ÿ˜ณ ๐Ÿ˜ณ

    I’ve recorded a new sample.This is recorded in stereo , from a FM radio receiver to the computer.
    Hope that helps:

    Yeah, ok.
    But 21 is a normal value??
    Other users in the forum said that they have the Tilt value adjusted at 2 or 7, using the Juli@ too ๐Ÿ˜•
