MemberStereo Tool introduced the composite clipper in 2013, while Leif's first composite clipper demo was in 2009 and Omnia.9 was released in 2011 AFAIK. For the declipper you are right, it's Hans' invention.
Stereo Tool is without a doubt great software. Whether it's better than Breakaway or not is a matter of taste and personal preferences.bigic

MemberSorry for responding after 7 years, but in the meantime, both software programs have progressed a lot.

It seems that Stereo Tool has implemented some options Leif implemented in Omnia.9 (composite clipper that drives demodulated audio up to 160%, to name one).bigic
