Unfortunately it seems like all hope for ANY kind of OSX version (beta or otherwise) is well and dead. It seems like the Breakaway Audio program itself is dead as Leif's last forum activity was October 10, 2013, 04:15:48 AM, over a year ago now.

To this day still use VolumeLogic with 10.9 via Audio Hijack Pro (the only way it works now), but audio technology has come a long way since VL was first introduced over 10+ years ago (and OSX for that matter).

    *sigh* Oh well…..
Volume Logic Is not BROKEN! its still working at the background (if u choose iTunes32bit mode) . just stupid iTunes Is not allowing us to see its window, Here is the solution: In user library, in preferences find "com.octiv.VolumeLogic.plist" open it with text edit
and change this value <key>WindowOpen</key><false/> TO <key>WindowOpen</key><true/>

Start iTunes In 32bit mode, u gonna see VLs window. but if u have a habit like me to close this window you have to change this value many times in a hour 😛P
EXCELLENT find Mad_Angel! Now I can continue to use the most current version of iTunes in Snow Leopard as well.

One suggestion to make this easier as well: Create an alias to the "com.octiv.VolumeLogic.plist" prefs file and store it where it’s easily accessible. That makes turning on and off VL much faster and easier if you don’t use it all the time.

PS – I bet someone could easily create a Script that does this too. Any takers?

Guys, in addition to posting here in the hope Claesson sees us, I also suggest contacting him directly. While I couldn’t find a direct e-mail link for him, I did find a link to what appears to be a fellow employee or webmaster here: http://www.claessonedwards.com/index.ph … Itemid=132.

    Contact: Keith Edwards – keith@claessonedwards.com

I, like others, signed up here just to voice my strong support for VolumeLogic for OSX and how much it changed my life and audio recordings. I actually discovered VL when it was in it’s early stages and also one of if not the first iTunes plugin created. From there I fell in love with it and was glad to purchase a license, which I still have some 5+ years later.

It broke my heart when Plantronics abandoned the plugin. There’s simply nothing that I’ve found that replaces it. PERIOD. Thankfully, I stumbled upon the VL Wiki page and saw that the original creator of VL has continued it’s grand tradition in the new form of Breakaway.

As a faithful support for over half a decade, I beg you to bring this wonderful product back to the Mac community! I, along with many others, would be happy to volunteer our time to help test and report bugs for you.
