Participant

so i’d probably do it like this. cable from sam pc sound card into breakaway pc sound card and another cable from breakaway pc back into sam pc sound card. as sam has its encoders built in i’d want to make sure the processed audio goes through them. i must admit i did think of something as obvious as the sound card and cables option but i thought their might be another better way to do it.
As I’m a purist, I’d try to use optical I/O both ends as this will be much better quality then analog cables but again, I fear this might be slightly stating the obvious..

no not at all, how does optical I/O work? i’ve heard of an optical cable, however i take it that its nothing to do with that?

Participanti’m currently running it on 1 machine however the audio skips and jumps all over the place. my machine has 250 gig of hard-drive and is running an external hard-drive as well. i was thinking it might be my machine because i have not had this problem before. i don’t know what i was thinking about but i thought that maybe i should run them on 2 separate machines but i bet you its something to do with the pipe-lines. breakaway pipe-line 1 as my input and 2 as my output. this is done via the use sound-card agc on sam broadcaster i prefer to do it this way as it just processes the audio in sam and sends it through the encoders but doesn’t process everything else. any ideas as to what i could or what could be causing the audio to jump all over the place?

Participant
you don’t. you install it into winamp folder, and then copy the files, as suggested in Leif’s original post.
Participantso how do i get it to install in breakaways folder instead of the winamp folder? as i said i’m able to install it in winamps folder but the installer won’t let me install it in breakaways folder.
