dancemusicradioParticipant
high, in the mixer section of sam their should be an option "use soundcard AGC" check that on and set the input and output to the pipelines in breakaway (pipeline 1 will probably be your input and 2 your output) check off livelink before you do this
dancemusicradioParticipanti'd up the range to 50 and bring down the power, but thats just me, your settings do sound good to me but a little loud
dancemusicradioParticipanti don't think theirs any need to
dancemusicradioParticipantyeah, sounds fine to me, don't be afraid to try and tweak around with the other presets though
dancemusicradioParticipantbreakaway itself can't play streams, the only other option you could use is a cable from your desk into the pc at the transmitter site but i suspect your transmitter site is a bit away from your studio if your using an stl? could you set all sound from the breakaway pc to come through breakaway? then you could try playing the stream in media player?
dancemusicradioParticipantthe only others i could think the samples could sound like are plutonium eruption or cleveland, if i was able to actually listen to the station i may be able to tell.
dancemusicradioParticipanti'm thinking new york or maybe amsterdam? tweak to taste
dancemusicradioParticipantdon't think you can listen outside the US?
dancemusicradioParticipantyou could try putting winamp on the same pc as breakaway and load in the livelink plugins to your winamps plugin folder, try playing the stream in winamp and then go to prefferences in winamp and click dsp plugins, select livelink for the pipeline your using in breakaway (livelink 1 for pipeline 1 livelink 2 for pipeline 2) and so on.
dancemusicradioParticipantusing the latest version of broadcast
dancemusicradioParticipantyou can't import settings from other processers into breakaway
dancemusicradioParticipantyou can't, make sure if your using breakaway you disable sound solution and otsavs processing, what type of a sound are you going for? would you be able to post a link to a station emulating a similar sound?
dancemusicradioParticipantattenuator 6dB (would definitely use that one)
AutoBalance (handy if you have recordings from vinyl on your playlist)
PhaseRotator (if you want)
Bass EFX (if you want)
ImpactClunk (if you want, all though i don't find it clunky enough personally) wonder is their an alternative to both impactclunk and PhaseTornado?
you could put impact clunk before Bass EFX if you want but i think putting it after it sounds better, all though maybe they should go before AutoBalance and PhaseRotator but i'm not suredancemusicradioParticipantdancemusicradioParticipanti take it theirs no timeframe for when the new breakaway products will be released?
