do you know any other thing i could put in front of breakaway to get some more out of it then i can standalone, because i try some plugins to get a good front before breakaway, like a dbmax in front of a omnia or like that 😉 but i wanted to keep it simple at one pc
I think it would be wise to wait for the new Breakaway… it has, among other thing, the best preprocessing possible: declipping… 😉
ah right;)

but the summer is nearly over, and no new breakaway, so i thought i do something myself with some plugins
It depends on if Reason uses modular setup for executables. If it does, then I’m guessing you can load its plugin like a DLL or some such.

If that’s possible, then you would have to reverse engineer the way Reason loads and uses plugins (enough to get FX working), and build a VST or Winamp plugin shell for them. (VST would be much more useful I would think, there’s plenty of VST to Winamp loaders already)

Not an easy task, especially if there’s some kind of protection within Reason’s plugin loading/using.

In case you didn’t put 1+1 already, you’re already going to need C++, debugging, and reversing skills to start with. I’m well qualified enough, but not interested in Reason plugins. Sos.
thats way to complicated and difficult for me 😯

try the helix preset, with bass (cut) at -50
    bass shape at 0

de description about this preset said, you make an analoge bass like de orban 8100 xt2

i put the bass efx at 3 for boost at that basses.

maybe is it what you search for 😉

    well

    @leif
    ,

i ment with stuck, you can always hear the basic part of the preset, and if you take a look at stereo tool, you can make your sound much more personal.

but i think breakaway will grow bigger and bigger in future;)

will there also be updates for breakaway live?
    because that would be nice,

and can we be able in the next version of bbp to build our own sound completely, so we don’t get stuck at the selected preset like we do now?
